Beautiful Bonsall encompasses approximately 32.8 square miles of hills and valleys 40 miles north of downtown San Diego and bordered by of Fallbrook to the north, Oceanside to the west, Valley Center to the east, and Vista to the south. It is located in the rolling foothills of the unincorporated area of northern San Diego County and home to the famous San Luis Rey Downs Training Center for thoroughbred racehorses and many other equestrian facilities.
